- Timeline: The website development timeline was tight for an ecommerce site, we had a hard deadline at 8 weeks, but were able to launch within 6. Afterwards, we engaged in a long term marketing agreement for ongoing marketing efforts and conversion rate optimization.

A local business wanted to refresh their site & grow their online business sales. We began by identifying potential markets and customer demographics. We determined that their old site’s functionality was hindering online sales. If more of their retail product catalog was made available online they would be more competitive in the local retailer market, instead of solely relying on their personalized items for online sales. Accessibility was another concern, so I worked with them to adjust their colors and logo to be more readable and have better contrast.
I worked closely with them over a 4-5 week timeline to import their product catalog (400+ SKUs) and create a custom Shopify site for them. Shopify was chosen because of its industry-leading checkout system. I also integrated their product feed with Google, Facebook, and Instagram.
I, along with the digital marketing director at Garner Agency, worked to configure tracking & analytics and begin Google and Meta campaigns to drive more traffic to the site. Over the next 3 months, their online store, which used to be highly seasonal and averaged less than $1000/month climbed to average more than $4,000/month using a modest advertising budget of less than $900/month. Their store’s performance has continued to improve, with a conversion rate consistently exceeding 2%. Their return on ad spend is consistently above 4:1, and their business is quickly breaking into new customer demographics.
